This isn't a baking blog or a ministry blog (but I'll talk about those), and it's not a gardening blog (goodness, no). This is just a blog about anything, and maybe everything, that I'm thinking about right now.

Lessons from Motherhood

As I've thought about motherhood this week, I've realized that being a mother has taught me some very valuable lessons about life.

Here are some lessons that being a mother (of boys) has taught me:

1.  Injuries happen.  They jump out at the kids even when least expected.  It won't help to worry about everything.

This eyebrow doozy happened when Teo was walking across the room and tripped.

2.  On that note: First Aid.  Clean.  Medicate.  Cover.  Thank you, Bandaid Brand.

3.  Similarly, Let Boys Be Boys

4. Oh, yeah, and Monster Trucks Really are Cool!

5. To Go Places and Do Things

6. To Serve Together

7.  Farting Noises CAN be Funny

8.  Messiness Happens

9.  Little Boy Snuggles are like Crack

10.  Other people may be experts on children, but I'm the Best Expert on My Children.
