This isn't a baking blog or a ministry blog (but I'll talk about those), and it's not a gardening blog (goodness, no). This is just a blog about anything, and maybe everything, that I'm thinking about right now.

What to do Today in Colorado Springs/Manitou

Photo: Christian Murdock/The Gazette

It's time for Territory Days!  This weekend, stores along Colorado Ave. in Old Colorado City have moved out to the street, setting up their wares to be seen by the thousands of pedestrians who will stroll by while visiting Territory Days.  Get a hold of a turkey leg and a lemonade icee, and look at paintings, pottery, gourmet honey, oils, and jams; and then take a break to ride a kiddie train and pet some animals in a petting zoo.  It's all there!

Today is your last chance to celebrate along with the rest of the city.  It starts at 10 am, and ends at 6 pm.  Parking is crazy down there, so plan to park and walk, or catch a shuttle at Coronado High School.
