This isn't a baking blog or a ministry blog (but I'll talk about those), and it's not a gardening blog (goodness, no). This is just a blog about anything, and maybe everything, that I'm thinking about right now.

Get Ready for a Sugar Rush!

I got the good news last week that my pregnancy complications have resolved!  Yay!  So, today, to celebrate that and one other unnamed very important event, I think it's a good time for Treat-za Pizza!

My friend brought this "sugar rush in a pan" over a week ago to share with our Wednesday night college Bible study.  It's really good, and a little goes a long way!!

Here's the recipe:

Treatza Pizza
24 bars (they are RICH, so you can cut them small)

1 (18 ounce) tube chocolate chip cookie dough
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 candy bars each of Snickers, Twix and Butterfinger, chopped (or other favorites)
4 Reeses peanut butter cups, chopped
1 jar hot fudge ice cream topping
6 oz mini M&M's

Press the cookie dough into a lightly greased 9x13 pan.  Bake according to cookie directions.

Immediate top cookie crust with chocolate chips.  Drop peanut butter onto crust.  Spread the melty chips and peanut butter evenly over the crust.  Sprinkle candy pieces over the top; drizzle with hot fudge and then sprinkle with M&M's.  Let cool, and cut into small squares to serve.

Thanks, Sarah Lawton!!
