Today I finally made it to Drifters with the "fam" to see how it compares to our favorite burger chain out west.
I really liked it!
Steve insists that it is very good, and they make an honorable attempt, but it's nowhere near the real thing, missing a certain "edge." My In-N-Out tastebuds aren't as sophisticated as his, so I definitely give this one a thumbs-up!
I ordered my burger the way I always do at the other spot, with grilled onions and extra sauce. I think they forgot the extra sauce, but I thought, the burger was great. The meat tasted fresh, and the burger wasn't heavy or greasy like some other places'.
The boys got a chocolate shake, which we all shared (much to their dismay) because it turned out to be so good.
